New Mexico Highlands University Student Union
View allThe PPRF provided financing to New Mexico Highlands University for a 67,000-square-foot student union that opened in Spring 2013. The Student Union Building was certified as LEED Gold for its state-of-the-art green building features like ground-source technology to help heat and cool the building and large computerized external shades that maximize natural light while helping regulate building temperature. In February 2014, the U.S. Green Building Council gave the building its top certification for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design.
